Mito Asian Fusion to open in former P.F. Chang’s spot at Smith Haven Mall

|

We’re a short time away from a new restaurant opening at Smith Haven Mall.

Mito Asian Fusion is expected to launch sometime in March, right next to Barnes & Noble in the space that last housed P.F. Chang’s, according to Mito’s website.

The Arizona-based P.F. Chang’s closed during the pandemic after operating for almost a decade at the mall.

As its name suggests, Mito will be offering a variety of Asian dishes. The menu consists of traditional Japanese cuisine, such as sushi and sashimi, as well as hibachi and more. Click here to see the full menu.

This will be the company’s first location on Long Island. Mito currently operates two locations in Queens (Bayside and Forrest Hills) and one in Yonkers.

There is also another Long Island spot in the works. Mito is taking over the old Monsoon location in Babylon Village. That restaurant is expected to launch this upcoming summer.
