Police ID Manhattan woman found dead on boat at Montauk Yacht Club

Suffolk County Police identified the woman found dead early Tuesday aboard a boat docked at the Montauk Yacht Club as 33-year-old Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra of Manhattan.

East Hampton Town Police responded to the dock on Star Island Road about midnight after a man called 911 to report an unconscious woman aboard a vessel, police said.

Good Samaritans attempted CPR before first responders arrived and pronounced Nolan-O’Slatarra dead at the scene.

A preliminary investigation and examination were inconclusive regarding the cause of death, police said. An autopsy will be performed by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Meanwhile, as Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives continue the investigation, authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the squad at 631.852.6392.
