Mister Softee fans in and around Miller Place will no longer need to wait until the weather gets warm to enjoy their favorite frozen treats.
The soft ice cream icon this spring will open its third-ever Suffolk brick-and-mortar store right in the heart of Miller Place, inside the Aliano Shopping Center.
For the last seven years, the owners, brothers Steven and Andrew Zoly, have run Mister Softee ice cream trucks that operate across Mount Sinai, Miller Place, Sound Beach, Port Jefferson Station, Coram, Rocky Point and Calverton.
The new location will open next door to a coming-soon Jimmy John’s sandwich shop. Steven Zoly told Greater Long Island he and his brother are targeting May or June opening.
