Nassau Police seek six suspects wanted for robbery, weapons, drug charges

Nassau cops are asking for the public’s help tracking down six suspects wanted on charges ranging from robbery to weapons possession.

The suspects are wanted out of communities across Nassau, including Oceanside, Jericho, East Garden City, Lynbrook, Freeport and East Rockaway.

Brendan Bergin, 36, of Oceanside (pictured above in bottom row, middle photo) is wanted for second-degree robbery aided by another in connection with an incident in Oceanside. He is described as a white male, 5-foot-9 and 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Ernesto Schibeci, 27 (top row, middle photo) is wanted on charges of shoplifting and violating a no-trespass ban, along with third-degree burglary for illegal entry with intent to commit a crime related to an incident in Jericho. He is described as a Hispanic male, 5-foot-9 and 310 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Ramzee Mayo, 48, (bottom row, left photo) is wanted for third-degree criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use, in connection with an incident in East Garden City. He is described as a Black male, 5-foot-11 and 210 pounds. He is bald with brown eyes, police said.

Kassandra Kassem Benchimol, 33, (bottom row, right photo) is wanted for fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said she was found with 500 milligrams of cocaine in Lynbrook. She is described as an Hispanic female, 5-foot-7 and 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Tyzhane Mendez, 28, of Freeport, (top row on right) is wanted for violating Nassau County probation. She is described as a Black female, 5-foot-4 and 125 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Benjamin Cohen, 23, (top row, left photo) is wanted for third-degree criminal mischief for allegedly damaging another person’s property valued at more than $250, in connection with an incident in East Rockaway. He is described as a white male, 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

The public outreach is part of Nassau Police’s weekly #MugshotMonday roundup. The department released the suspects’ mugshots on social media on Monday.

Police said none of the individuals should be approached. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact Nassau County Police or Crime Stoppers, anonymously at 1.800.244.TIPS.
