Nassau Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl from North Valley Stream.
Detectives said Elizabeth Joseph was last seen on Saturday at Valley Stream Central High School. She had been dropped off at the school about 9 a.m. and remained there until 11 a.m., but she did not return home.
The girl’s disappearance was reported to police early Sunday, at 4:14 a.m.
Police described Elizabeth as Black, with a light complexion, long black hair, and brown eyes. She is about 5 feet, 6 inches tall; weighs 100 pounds; and has piercings on her belly button and nostrils.
It is not clear what she was wearing at the time she went missing, nor where she may have been headed, authorities said.
