Nassau Police are on the hunt for a man they said committed a lewd act near a public park in Mineola.
The obscene act occurred on Jackson Avenue near Mineola Memorial Park last Wednesday about 3:30 p.m., police said. Authorities have released surveillance camera images of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man.
Police released two photos of the man, described as having curly dark hair. He’s wearing a gray tank top in the images.
Anyone who can identify the man, or who has information about the incident, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1.800.244.TIPS (8477) or at nassaucountycrimestoppers.com.
Tipsters could be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
