It’s the world’s chance to bring home a piece — actually, 500 pieces — of Long Island beauty.
Dix Hills fine arts photographer Frank D’Agostino and Springbok Puzzles have published a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle that showcases the stunning beauty of fall-time Northport Harbor. Available now for purchase on Springbok’s website, “Harbor in the Fall” is set to be distributed through national retailers early next year.
Widely considered the leader in quality jigsaw puzzle production, Springbok inked D’Agostino to a three-puzzle deal that will bring the beauty and charm of Long Island’s coastlines into homes across the country.
“Harbor in the Fall,” reflects Northport Harbor’s peaceful scenery, with vibrant fall foliage and moored sailboats along Northport’s iconic waterfront. The image captures a piece of Long Island’s picturesque Gold Coast.

“I am thrilled my photography caught the eye of Springbok puzzles,” shared D’Agostino, 49, who lives in Dix Hills with his wife and their two children. “I’m honored that my landscape photographs will become immersive and tangible experiences for even more people to enjoy from the comfort of their homes.”
D’Agostino said he often showcases and sells his work at fine art festivals across the East End. He previously worked for the Discovery Channel, History Channel and Travel Channel, producing content for a myriad of advertisers and lead brand partnerships to leverage some of the networks’ top series.
Highlighting D’Agostino’s artistry
Springbok Puzzles, a division of Allied Products, notes that it takes pride in producing puzzles that not only challenge the mind but also highlight the artistry of talented photographers like D’Agostino.
“We are proud to collaborate with Frank D’Agostino Photography to add to our unique collection of puzzles that not only showcase stunning landscapes like these but also provide a meaningful and engaging experience for puzzle enthusiasts of all ages,” said Marisa Lytle, Allied’s vice president digital marketing and ecommerce. “This partnership reflects our dedication to delivering exceptional imagery from artists and photographers from around the globe, that captivates and inspires consumers.”
More to come
The two other Springbok puzzles featuring D’Agostino’s work will be released in the coming months.
“I have always been into photography since I started taking classes in high school,” said D’Agostino, who attended Lawrence High School in Cedarhurst. “In 2020, I started to head out east to sell my photos at fine art fairs and festivals.
“This was the first time I tried monetizing my hobby. I met the owner of Springbok Puzzles in Southampton one summer while he was visiting the East End on vacation,” he continued. “He liked my work and mentioned that someone from his office would be in touch with me. A few weeks later we engaged in a partnership.”
