New street festival coming to Lindenhurst Village

|

Live music, street dining, shopping and family fun.

That’s all planned for Wednesdays on Wellwood, a new street festival series happening in downtown Lindenhurst.

The event, sponsored by the Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce, is set for Aug. 18 and Sept. 1, both from 5-9 p.m.

Streets will be shut down on Wellwood Avenue from Hoffman Avenue to John Street for the outing.

The day is all about supporting local Lindy businesses, event organizers told GreaterBabylon.

“It’s a great way to get all of our Lindenhurst businesses together after a long year of COVID restrictions,” said Rachel Voges, owner of a recently opened Japanese-inspired restaurant in Lindy called Bakuto.

Make sure to check back at GreaterBabylon for photos from both dates.
