If the lodge was always your favorite part of skiing, Patchogue has you covered this winter.
Forget the skis, the boots and the five-hour drive to Vermont or Lake Placid — The Ski Lodge is bringing alpine après vibes straight to Patchogue with its second annual winter bash on Saturday, Dec. 27, from 1 to 8 p.m.
The winter-themed gathering returns to Drift 82’s seasonal venue after a successful debut last winter and is the result of a collaboration between event and promotional marketing companies Social Pressure and Two Social. The companies joined forces in 2024 to create a festive, all-ages-friendly way to fill the quiet days between Christmas and New Year’s.
“It’s all about giving people something fun to do between Christmas and New Year’s — a place to come together, reconnect, and enjoy the season, especially when you’re getting cabin fever,” said co-organizer Joe Gannone, founder and partner at Social Pressure.
Tickets range from $12.22 for the early bird special, to $34.44 for Tier 4 VIP access to the Dec. 27 bash.
“That’s when Drift 82 will be “transformed into a ski lodge,” organizers say.
It’s being billed as the “coolest” party of the winter.
Gannone said the idea began as a “crazy” collaboration that quickly turned into his favorite event of last winter, crediting John Sarno of Drift 82 for believing in the concept and taking a chance on hosting it.
