What was long called the Entenmann’s Great South Bay Run is now the Northwell Health Great South Bay Run and it’s happening Saturday.
The 31st annual half marathon fires off at 8:30 a.m. at the Bay Shore Marina, where the parking meters will be suspended until 1 p.m., organizers said.
The deadline for signing up online is Wednesday, Sept. 28 at midnight. After that there will be no more online registration; only paper registration at the race site for the higher prices.
The run includes a 5K and 10K, and prices vary per race. There’s also a 1K kids fun run for the 2016 installment.
