You asked (repeatedly).
We’re talking nearly 10 years’ worth of countless social posts and full-fledged petitions.
But it worked. The McDonald’s Corporation is officially bringing the Snack Wrap back to Long Island — and restaurants across the U.S. (The Snack Wrap was phased out nationally in 2016.)
We know what you’re thinking. This is McDonald’s after all; it’s going to be some limited-time snack-tease.
Wrong! Today’s announcement says the Snack Wrap will hit menus starting July 10, “and this time, it’s here to stay.”
But there is a caveat. Reading between the lines, sales must remain strong. “After years of fans demanding its return, we’re excited to bring back the Snack Wrap, as long as you keep enjoying it at McDonald’s,” reads another statement.
Fans will be able to order two flavors. The descriptions below are, word for word, from McDonald’s:
- Spicy: Bold, zesty and unapologetically fiery – the Spicy Snack Wrap brings the heat with a habanero kick that fans know and love from the Spicy McCrispy sandwich.
- Ranch: Smooth, rich and irresistibly savory – the Ranch Snack Wrap delivers a satisfying burst of cool ranch goodness, with hints of garlic and onion.
And for super fans, McDonald’s has dropped snackwrapfiles.com, a snackers’ VIP entry to all things Snack Wrap.
What’s a Snack Wrap?
The wrap features one McCrispy Strips, which is a chicken strip made with all white meat. It’s then topped with crisp shredded lettuce and shredded cheese, all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla.
