NWS: Storm watch is in effect on Long Island, could see 4-8 inches of snow

Forecasters are predicting more snowfall on Long Island this week.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch for Thursday morning into Friday afternoon.

The warning predicts the potential for heavy snowfall and 4 to 8 inches of snow accumulation.

“Travel could be very difficult,” reads the storm watch. “The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.”
