NY Jets icon Marty Lyons leads Brew & Grille’s launch in Manorville Aug. 29

|

The popular Westhampton Beach Brewing Co. is set to celebrate the official grand opening of its Manorville location on Friday with a star-studded ribbon cutting ceremony featuring New York Jets legend Marty Lyons.

The new Westhampton Beach Brew & Grille, located at 496 County Road 111 in Manorville, represents a significant expansion for the brewery founded in 2018 by longtime friends Brian Sckipp and John Salvaggio.

The venue has been transformed from the former Hurricane Grill & Wings location into a full-service taproom and restaurant that maintains the brewery’s signature laid-back, community-driven atmosphere.

The former Jets defensive lineman, who played his entire 11-year NFL career with New York from 1979 to 1989, will help officially launch the new location with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony at 2:30 p.m.

The grand opening celebration will feature the brewery’s popular craft beers, including their signature Jetty Four Lager and Hurricane IPA, available in $5 pints. Guests can also sample their Summer Ale and Strawberry Blonde varieties.

The event will include happy hour specials, raffles and live entertainment.

Ownership said that 10% of the day’s draft beer sales will be donated to the Marty Lyons Foundation, an organization dedicated to fulfilling wishes for terminally and chronically ill children. The foundation, established by the former Jets star, has granted thousands of wishes over the past three decades, embodying the motto “The courage to wish for more.”

The new Manorville location maintains the beachy, laid-back vibe that regulars know and love from the original Westhampton Beach taproom at Francis S. Gabreski Airport, which continues operating with no changes to its schedule.

The expanded Manorville venue offers a full food menu, featuring such favorites as Bavarian pretzels and specialty burgers.

The grand opening event is free and open to the public. Westhampton Beach Brew & Grille is located in the back of the plaza at 496 County Road 111.
