Get your steins ready because Oktoberfest is set for its return in Lindenhurst.
The Lindenhurst Rotary Club and the Village of Lindenhurst are hosting their annual Oktoberfest street festival on Oct. 3 from noon to 5 p.m. in the downtown.
Families and friends are welcome to come down to enjoy outdoor dining, shop from different local vendors, and take part in the village’s Beer Garden.
“This year’s Oktoberfest is going to be another family-friendly event in our Lindenhurst downtown, offering something for everyone to enjoy,” said Lindenhurst Deputy Mayor Maryann Weckerle.
North Wellwood Avenue, from John Street to Hoffman Avenue, will be closed to traffic on the day of the event from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
