Old Navy is opening its second Long Island store in three months.
The first one opened in Farmingdale on Oct. 28 at Airport Plaza. The latest outpost will open its doors this week in Shirley, as announced by an Old Navy manager.
Stacey Martino, district manager of Old Navy, shared on Facebook that the new store will have a soft opening on Wednesday, followed by a grand opening on Saturday.
“We will be having a ribbon cutting, giveaways and lots of fun for our customers on Saturday,” she wrote.
The new Old Navy store, which is 15,077 square feet, will be located in the former Modell’s Sporting Goods location at South Port Shopping Center. With this opening, Long Island will have a total of 15 Old Navy stores.
Additionally, more businesses are planned for the Shirley shopping center, including Buffalo Wild Wings Go, Pacific Tanning, and Planet Fitness.
