A new game in Patchogue is earning shoppers drinks on the house!
The Patchogue Retail Association, under the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, launched the Patchogue Bingo game Feb. 1 to rejuvenate shopping in the village.
When shopping at any of the participating retailers, players receive a card from a store clerk. Employees at each of the 24 participating shops will stamp their respective square after a customer’s purchase.
Participating shoppers have until Feb. 28 to play. Shoppers that blot the four corners of their card or form the letter “T” will earn a voucher for a free drink at participating restaurants.
Ambitious players who complete a full bingo card will be entered for a chance to take home the grand prize, the winner of which will be announced following the promotion.
“If you get the full card then you’re entered to win probably the biggest raffle basket we’ve ever raffled off,” David Kennedy, executive director of the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, said. “Each participating retailer is putting an item in the basket, so there will be about 20 or 30 different items from different retail establishments.”
