Police seek three men in stabbing attack in front of James Joyce in Patchogue

Suffolk Police are asking for the public’s help identifying three men who allegedly beat and stabbed a man in Patchogue in May.

Police said the attack unfolded about 2:10 a.m. on May 23 — a Saturday — in front of James Joyce at 49 South Ocean Ave., when three men struck the victim. One of the assailants then stabbed him, cops said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries police described as non-life-threatening.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-220-TIPS, submit a tip through the P3 Tips app (available on the App Store and Google Play), or visit www.P3Tips.com.
