Patchogue Village has announced overnight road closures of Main Street to aid in clearing snow from Thursday’s storm, officials announced.
In the meantime, the village is focused on clearing parking lots.
On Sunday, Feb. 12, into Monday, Feb. 13, from midnight to about 8 a.m., West Main Street between, and including, South Ocean Avenue to West Avenue, will be closed to traffic and parking for snow removal.
On Monday, Feb. 13, into Tuesday, Feb. 14, from midnight until 8 a.m., East Main Street will be closed between Ocean Avenue and Rider Avenue for snow removal.
Expected temperatures above freezing might also help in the process (forecast).
