Imagine mixing your favorite ice cream flavors with tasty cereals.
You can get something like Fruitty Pebbles and Froot Loops infused with vanilla ice cream topped with strawberries, honey Teddy Grahams, and maple syrup.
That’s actually an exact menu item called Rainbow Brite from Cloud Nine Ice Cream & Cereal Bar, Patchogue’s new cereal-infused ice cream shop set to open at noon on Saturday, June 27.
“We want people walking out happier than they walked in,” said owner Matthew Pesko.
Customers can dial up their own cereal-infused ice cream creations that could be whipped up in just two minutes using special machines, as well as regular ice cream, milkshakes, cereal bowls and other cereal-based treats.
Pesko, of Port Jefferson, is launching his venture where the short-lived Bar-A-Dessert used to be at 38 South Ocean Avenue.
He took over the space and began renovations earlier this year.
On opening day, the dessert eatery will be giving 50 patrons a coupon for a free ice cream for their next visit.
“We can’t wait to open our doors in the great Village of Patchogue,” told GreaterPatchogue.
