Patchogue’s popular 360 Taiko taking over vacant H20 spot in East Islip

The vacant structure that most recently housed H20 Seafood & Sushi — and before that, the Beachtree Café — is about to become home to a new sushi and Asian fusion restaurant ran by the same restauranteurs behind the popular 360 Taiko in downtown Patchogue.

A realtor for the property — located at 166 W. Main St. at the south end of Irish Lane – confirmed the deal Tuesday night, adding that a grand opening is expected to happen early in 2023.

“They will be giving this location a new name,” licensed real estate salesperson Jake Guadagno with Mogil Realty Group in Bay Shore posted in Facebook. “However they will be offering the same classy, yet sophisticated vibe, featuring not only Sushi, Asian Fusion as well as delicious seafood, but a commitment to excellent service and ambiance!”

H20 closed in wake of the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and has been shuttered since. The H2O in Smithtown continues to operate.

After a long run, the Beachtree Café closed for good in early 2016. By the end of the year, H2O opened and quickly gained a foothold as a go to spot for a quality dining experience in the East Islip and Islip areas.
