This local restaurant/bar has a solution for those needing groceries but can’t leave their house due to the virus outbreak.
The Tap Room of Patchogue is now offering a $35 grocery box that can be delivered to your doorstep, as long as you live about four miles from Main Street.
The care package is filled with the essentials, all from The Tap Room’s local distributors. That includes:
- 2 pounds of ground beef
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 dozen eggs
- 1 pound of broccoli florets
- 1/2 gallon of milk
- 1 loaf of bread
For this service, The Tap Room partnered with the men behind Qwik Rides, the micro-transportation cart service in town.
Orders will be accepted daily with delivery service operating from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. There’s a $3 delivery charge for this service.
