PDQ — short for People Dedicated to Quality — opened its second Long Island location, this one in the Westbury Plaza at 1236 Old Country Road, on May 15.
The franchise has more than 65 stores in Florida, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina and South Carolina.
The other Long Island store is located at 1004 Broadhollow Road in Farmingdale, the chicken joint’s first-ever New York location.
Nick Reader and Bob Basham, one of the original founders of Outback Steakhouse, started PDQ in 2009 with the goal of serving fresh, fast and affordable food that people felt good about eating.
PDQ is known for its award-winning chicken tenders, made-to-order sandwiches, fresh salads and handcrafted milkshakes.
The new Westbury location offers curbside pick-up, in-restaurant dining, a drive-thru option and catering for any occasion.
PDQ Westbury is Monday to Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
You can register for MyPDQ points online or through the restaurant’s app to receive three free chicken tenders with your first purchase.
