There was plenty of gumbo and beignets being dished out at the new Big Daddy’s East soft opening Thursday night in Bay Shore.
The New Orleans-inspired restaurant, which has a sister location in Massapequa, will be opening to the public next week at 44-46 Main Street.
“We’re excited to open in Bay Shore,” manager Frank Poulin told GreaterBayShore Thursday night. “This is a great spot in town.”
There are tributes to the Big Easy throughout the new restaurant, including murals and a jumbo TV screen that live-streams Bourbon Street 24/47.
In the next phase, Big Daddy’s East plans to open a second-floor dining area.
