Photos from another successful Holiday House Tour in Islip Hamlet

|

The Historical Society of Islip Hamlet hosted another well-attended Holiday House Tour last month.

This is typically one of the best attended house tours on Long Island, the organizers say, and 2016’s installment didn’t disappoint  — with all 500 tickets and 50 reserve tickets sold.

This year’s hamlet tour, which features historic and notable local homes decked out for the holidays, featured four properties.

One stop, at the Lipari home, consisted of a main house and four other buildings.

The Carols for Causes singers sang holiday music at the estate all day on Dec. 4, and musician Rob Baione sang and played guitar at the reception.

The group also collected “an unprecedented number of Toys for Tots,” reads a news release.
