It was beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Patchogue this weekend.
That’s because the river was awash in twinkle lights Sunday night as the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce’s riverfront committee hosted its big Christmas Holiday Boat Parade.
Several hundred locals lined the banks of Patchogue River, at restaurants such Drift 82 and The Oar Steak & Seafood Grille or watched from their boats parked in slips or their residences across the way.
Leaning into this year’s “A Jimmy Buffett Christmas,” theme, paying homage to the late singer and proud Long Islander who recently passed away, several boats were adorned in palm trees and blasted Buffett music as they passed around boat drinks on deck.
And GreaterPatchogue was there to capture images from this year. Scroll down for our photos.
