Hundreds of families flocked to Harborfront Park in Port Jefferson Village for an egg-citing Easter celebration last Sunday, April 9.
The Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Easter Parade and egg hunt, attracting nearly 100 people (plus a few furry friends) to join in on the festive fun.
Decked out in their finest spring attire, the parade kicked off at noon, as participants made their way down Main Street to the beat of cheerful tunes. Led by a lively cast of characters including a dinosaur, a fairy, and the one and only Easter Bunny, the parade concluded at the park outside the Village Center.
Upon arrival, eager children aged 2 to 8 eagerly scoured the area for hidden Easter eggs, with the help of their special guests. See below for pictures of the day.
