Babylon has frozen over.
To capture the icy scene, Greater Long Island headed out to Babylon Marina, Captree and Robert Moses parks, as well as nearby neighborhoods, as a prolonged cold snap grips the region.

And the chill isn’t lifting anytime soon. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are expected to dip to around 6 degrees tonight, with daytime highs remaining below freezing through at least next Friday.
There’s also a 30 percent chance of snow across Long Island on Sunday.
