Suffolk County Police issued an alert Monday that they are actively searching for two missing teenage girls from South Shore communities.
The department is seeking the public’s help in finding Danielle Dean, 17, of Bay Shore, who was reported missing two weeks ago. Cops said Danielle left her home on E. Oakdale Street dressed in a gray, long-sleeve t-shirt and gray pants, and has not been seen since, authorities said.
She is described as five feet, eight inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Danielle, pictured above on the left, may travel to New York City, authorities said.
Police are also looking for 16-year-old Lillian Lopez, who was last seen April 9, walking out of her home on Board Place in West Babylon. Lopez, shown above on the right, is five feet, two inches tall, weighs 115 pounds, and has brown eyes and red hair.
The girls’ missing persons cases were featured in the Suffolk County Police Department’s #MissingMonday public awareness campaign.
Officials did not indicate whether they believe the cases are related, though the teens disappeared from South Shore communities within days of each other.
Anyone with information on either missing teen is asked to call 911 or the SCPD’s non-emergency number at 631.852.COPS.
