Port Jefferson is incorporating a taste of Ireland for its third annual breakfast crawl.
So forget traditional eggs and bacon, expect items such as bangers, Irish tea, and rashers, says Barbara Ransome of the Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, which co-sponsors the event.
“This is the first year we added a theme,” said Ransome, who runs the crawl in association with the Pro-Port Restaurant Committee.
The Luck of the Irish Breakfast Crawl takes place on Saturday, March 14, a few days before St. Patrick’s Day. There is a rain date set for Saturday, March 21.
From 9 a.m. to noon, crawlers will have the opportunity to bop around to 17 different Port Jeff locations to sample their Irish spin on food and/or drinks. Scroll down to see the participants.
Tickets are $30 per person to attend to all locations. Click here to buy tickets. Tickets can be picked up at the Port Jefferson Chamber Office at 118 West Broadway, Monday to Friday from 10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
