QDOBA Mexican Eats has just opened its first location on the South Shore of Suffolk County.

The location in Bay Shore, located at the foot of the hospital on East Main Street, opened today, Wednesday, at 11 a.m., according to an announcement on Instagam.

“Like all QDOBA restaurants, this location offers a robust menu with high-quality ingredients, such as freshly chopped veggies, in-house pickled jalapeños and flame-grilled steak and adobo chicken,” a QDOBA spokesperson told us via email. “Guests can walk through the line and build their own meal just how they like by choosing from a variety of entrée options, including tacos, burritos, burrito bowls, quesadillas, nachos and salads.”

The Bay Shore location is also opening with a limited time offering, Mac & Queso, which is macaroni smothered in QDOBA’s signature three-cheese queso, the spokesperson said.

QDOBA Bay Shore is operated by two Long Island brothers, Jeff and John Froccaro, and another business partner, Harry Braunstein, according to prior Greater Long Island reports.

The trio owns and operates several locations in NYC and in Nassau, including Farmingdale and Massapequa, with another location opening on Motor Parkway in Hauppauge.
