Queens man wins $1,000 a day for life with CASH4LIFE ticket he bought in Newburgh

We just know he’s smiling ear-to-ear behind that mask.

Nelson Lanfranco of Rockaway Beach on Friday claimed a $1,000 A Day For Life top prize for matching all six numbers in the CASH4LIFE drawing on Oct. 10.

The CASH4LIFE top prize guarantees a minimum payout of $7 million. Lanfranko opted to receive the cash value of the minimum payout, and took home a one-time lump sum payment of $4,285,680, after required withholdings.

Interestingly, the Rockaway Beach man traveled to upstate Newburgh the purchase his lucky ticket. The Smokes 4 Less at 59 North Plank Road is notorious for selling big-payout New York Lottery tickets.

On average, there are several lottery winners each month at the Newburgh store; some have driven from Long Island.

The winning CASH4Life numbers on Oct. 10 were 5, 7, 12, 34 and 60; the Cash Ball drawn was 3.
