Your local YMCA is here to help.
The YMCA of Long Island this week announced the return of regular spring program sessions running from April 18 through June 26.
For over 100 years, the island’s YMCAs have supported communities in big ways. After a year like no other, staffers are excited to get back to what they do best: helping people.
“Today, this means more to us than ever before, as we re-imagine our Ys,” the announcement reads. “We remain the place to achieve your health and wellness goals, where kids reach their potential, and everyone belongs.”
But they want people to be comfortable, so members have a choice of joining program sessions either virtually, indoors, outdoors, or a combination of the three.
For the outdoors, the Ys have introduced “Y On The Fly” tented spaces.
