|

Allied Pediatrics of Rocky Point has opened at 346 Route 25A and is accepting appointments for a variety of services.

In addition to sick visits and wellness check-ups, the 5,500-square-foot pediatric facility offers vaccinations, a new parent helpline, breastfeeding support, telehealth services, nutrition assistance, asthma control education (ACE) and community education through webinars and CPR classes.

Dr. Nubia Vargas-Chen, Dr. Eric Levene and Dr. Daniel Freidman will treat patients at the new office.

“Our experienced pediatricians and clinicians are committed to providing high quality care and exceptional service to families and children of the Rocky Point community,” Dr. Kerry Fierstein, CEO of Allied Physicians Group, said in a press release dated Wednesday. “With a growing number of children in the community, this new office is convenient for families in Rocky Point and the surrounding areas.”

The new office — opened in December — is the 24th Allied location on Long Island and the 36th in New York metropolitan area, according to the release.

Allied Pediatrics’ parent company, Allied Physicians Group, is headquartered in Melville. The company employs more than 150 physicians and 350 supporting staffers, while serving 180,000 patients across New York City, Long Island and the lower Hudson Valley region.

“I welcome Allied Physicians Group’s to the Rocky Point community,” Town of Brookhaven Councilwoman Jane Bonner said in the release. “This is an important new business in our community, and I wish Dr. Fierstein and her staff the best of luck. We have a growing number of families with young children in the area who will be well served.”
