Roger & JP aren’t going anywhere.
WBAB’s hit morning show hosts Roger Luce and JP Parise just inked a four-year deal with station owner Cox Media Group to stay on Long Island.
The pair will also remain in the midday slot at 102.5 The Bone in Tampa, Fla.
Luce and Parise took over the morning show at 102.3 WBAB in 2000, and in the two decades that followed have become among the most recognized voices in Long Island radio.
“Roger & JP simply dominate Long Island and Tampa radio,” said Chris Eagan, Cox Media Group’s vice president of audience and operations.
Parise joked that the company “roped us into another four years” in Tampa, too.
“Send help!”
“Long Island is our home,” Luce said. “It’s part of who we are.”
