Rooted Hospitality Group moves headquarters to Center Moriches

|

Rooted Hospitality Group, one of the area’s largest privately held developers and operators of both full-service and fast-casual restaurants, announced the opening of its new headquarters in Center Moriches.

The opening of the new headquarters at 376A Main St. is in direct response to its growing list of restaurant properties owned and operated by the management team behind the popular dining spots RUMBA Inspired Island Cuisine & Rum Bar, Cowfish, RHUM Island Inspired Cuisine & Rum Bar, and its newest brand, AVO TACO, the company said.

“We are very excited to extend our roots to the Center Moriches business community,” said co-owner and chief marketing financial officer, Rachel Hersh. “Not only is the new space centrally located to all of our full-service restaurants, but it also marks a commitment to our hometown of the Greater Moriches. I grew up here, David and I call Center Moriches our home, and we are thrilled to have found a space here in such a welcoming community that resonates so strongly with our family, our work family, and our vision.”

The new office will serve as headquarters for the accounting, marketing, communications, customer care, and recruiting sectors, as well as all owners and partners. It will also serve as a home base for the entire team to gather and encourage collaboration across all departments and disciplines.

Part of the local restaurant industry since 2010, co-owner and founder David Hersh offered a unique perspective on the move, explaining, “the roots of our restaurant group are here, which makes this relocation such a natural move for us,” Hersh said. “We look forward to meeting our new neighbors and encourage everyone to stop in and say ‘hello.’”
