Here’s a Halloween deal you can sink your teeth into.
Uncle Giuseppe’s is extending its weekly pizza special to Saturday, Oct. 31, offering two freshly made, 20-inch cheese pizzas for $22 — an easy dinner before or after trick-or-treating.
The deal is normally available all day Wednesdays and Fridays, but the specialty grocer is adding Halloween to the mix to help families feed their hungry haunters.
“Halloween is one of the busiest nights of the year for pizza, and for good reason,” said Nick Renna, director of marketing and e-commerce for Uncle Giuseppe’s. “Between costumes, trick-or-treating, and getting the kids out the door, the last thing parents want to worry about is cooking dinner.”
The round pies are made fresh with dough prepared in-house. Each measures 20 inches across, giving the little monsters plenty to dig into.
“We wanted to make the night a little easier for families by extending our 2-for-$22 special on Halloween,” Renna said.
On Long Island, the special is available at Uncle Giuseppe’s locations in Melville, Port Jefferson, Greenvale and Bohemia.
It is also offered at the Yorktown location and at stores in Tinton Falls, Ramsey and Morris Plains, New Jersey.
The regular Wednesday and Friday special continues each week, Renna said.
