East Islip is days away from tasting Salah’s Halal Food.
The new restaurant is opening its door to the public on May 15 at noon, owner Mohamed Siraj Salahudeen confirmed to GreaterBayShore.
Located at 103 West Main Street, Salah’s Halal will offer a variety of traditional halal dishes and motorcycle-themed sandwiches.
Salahudeen is also establishing a second Salah’s location in Commack — it’s being planned for a later spring launch.
