Save the Date: March 9 is Bay Shore’s big St. Patrick’s Parade

One of Long Island’s largest St. Patrick’s parades is all set for Saturday, March 9, in downtown Bay Shore.

The Bay Shore Brightwaters St. Patrick’s Day Parade starts at 2 p.m. at Saxon Avenue to the east and ends at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church to the west.

It marches along Main Street rain or shine; there is no rain date.

This year’s grand marshals are the Doddy sisters, which include Julia Costello, Catna Cronin and Mary Knapp.
