The Golden Flashes are going to Disney — again.
Sayville’s varsity cheerleading team will compete for the national high school cheerleading championship this February in Orlando, Florida.
The squad competed this past weekend at the UCA Empire Regional even at Hofstra University, qualifying for the nationals in two divisions: Game Day and Traditional.
The girls took first place in the Game Day Division, making Sayville two-time regional champions. Sayville placed fifth out of 18 teams in the Traditional Category.
The nationals take place Feb. 9-12 at the Walt Disney World Resort.
