The Greater Sayville Civic Association is hosting a Kentucky Derby fundraiser at MoMo’s Too in Bayport this Saturday, May 1.
The fun goes from 5-8 p.m., with prizes being trotted out for “Best Dressed” and “Most Creative.” If you’re going, the civic association highly encourages you to come wearing your Derby best — from head to toe.
Derby hats, fascinators, blazers, bow ties and saddle shoes will be warmly received at this party. The Greater Sayville Chamber of Commerce announced that Paper Doll Vintage, located at 23 Main St. in Sayville, is offering to help you match the perfect fascinator for your Derby outfit.
If you are attending the fundraiser at MoMo’s and mention the event, Paper Doll Vintage will give you a 10% discount off your fascinator.
The fundraiser is an outdoor event, so it’s weather permitting. But not to worry: current forecasts call for sunny blue skies throughout the day.
You will be able to place your bets on the big race, participate in 50/50 and basket raffles and get pumped up by music played by a DJ.
Hors d’oeuvres will be served and there will be a cash bar.
MoMo’s Too Sports Bar and Grill is located at 667 Montauk Highway in Bayport.
