Don’t be alarmed by the “FOR RENT” sign posted on the window at the Sayville Running Company.
Yes, the popular specialty running store will soon vacate the premises at 49 Main St. But the good news for Sayville is that the shop is moving just a few doors east on Main Street.
In messages posted on social media and at the store, Sayville Running Company has been alerting customers that the store is relocating to the space at 19 Main St., right next to Hammer & Stain and just a few steps from Five Points Cafe.
“HEY 
We’re moving to a new location next month!” the running store posted on Facebook on Aug. 27. “But don’t worry, we’re heading just a few doors down. 19 Main Street will be our new home and we can’t wait to serve you from down the street. 
“
Considered to be among the best specialty run stores on the East Coast, Sayville Running Company prides itself on delivered specialized customer service to the running and walking communities in the area.
The store also organizes the Sayville Summer Series of foot races, has a store racing team and provides support for school teams, road races, clubs and other community efforts.
