Scenes from Alive by the Bay in its return to downtown Bay Shore

Bay Shore’s biggest block party made its triumphant return to Main Street Tuesday night after stormy weather postponed what was supposed to be the first installment in the summer festival series July 1.

And GLI’s Eric Micallef was there to capture all the action.

The events, which feature live music, food and family fun, are all run by the Bay Shore Restaurant Committee. The next installments happen Tuesday, July 29, and Tuesday, Aug. 12, from 5 to 9 p.m.
