On Friday night, the New York Islanders faced off against the Carolina Hurricanes in the first-ever postseason game at the UBS Arena, and it did not disappoint.
The game was a back-and-forth battle until a late surge by the Islanders, resulting in a record-setting four-goal outburst in a span of just 2 minutes and 18 seconds. The Islanders came away with a 5-1 victory, cutting their first-round series deficit to 2-1.
