Sephora is quickly expanding its footprint on Long Island.
This spring, the global beauty retailer opened standalone locations in Massapequa Park at 4966 Merrick Road and in Port Jefferson Station at 110 Route 112, in the same shopping center as Uncle Giuseppe’s.
And more stores are on the way.
A new Sephora is in the works for the upcoming Shops at Sunvet development in Holbrook. Meanwhile, the company also opened a location this past fall at Tanger Outlets in Deer Park.
Founded in France in 1969, Sephora is in the midst of a new chapter that includes redesigning all its stores across North America.
“[Some stores] will get major redesigns, and some will get minor,” Artemis Patrick, president and CEO of Sephora North America, told Retail Dive. Read more about the redesigns here.
There are currently over 700 Sephora locations in North America. Long Island is home to 14 standalone stores, in addition to several locations inside Kohl’s stores across the region.
