Gabby Petito’s father Joseph announced today that funeral services for his daughter are on Sunday, Sept. 26.
“Services for our sweet Gabby will be held at Moloney Funeral Home in Holbrook,” the grieving father said in a tweet. “Thank you to all for your lover and support.”
The funeral services for Petito, 22, of Blue Point will go from noon-5 p.m. at the funeral home, located at 825 Main St. It is open to the public to pay their respects.
Petito was found slain in Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming on Sunday, Sept. 19. Her death has been ruled a homicide.
The FBI on Thursday issued an arrest warrant for her boyfriend Brian Laundrie, 23, alleging Laundrie’s unauthorized use of a Capital One debit card to withdraw more than $1,000 between Aug. 30 and Sept. 1 in Wyoming and elsewhere. A weeklong police manhunt for Laundrie continues today.
The couple were on a cross-country trip this summer in a white Ford Transit van belonging to Petito. Laundrie returned home without her on Sept. 1. The last known sighting of Petito was Aug. 27 in Jackson, Wyoming.
