Long Island dance music brand Sessions is launching a new weekly residency at Great South Bay Brewery in Bay Shore, transforming the venue into its new Wednesday night headquarters.
Beginning this Wednesday, July 15, the event series will take over the brewery every week from 6 p.m. to midnight, featuring a resident DJ, Theo, guest performers, food vendors and a mix of indoor and outdoor entertainment.
“The venue is massive and gives us the space to do what we love — create big events,” Sessions co-founder Joe Gannone told Greater Long Island. “Whether it’s under the sun or during a rainy night, we have options.
“With expansive indoor warehouse space and plenty of outdoor areas, Sessions goes on rain or shine, delivering a festival-style experience with the energy of a Brooklyn warehouse right here on Long Island.”

The move marks the latest evolution for Sessions, which has hosted dance music events across Long Island, the Hamptons and New York City since its launch.
A bigger home for Sessions
Great South Bay Brewery’s 3.1-acre property gives organizers room to expand the experience with multiple gathering areas, food and retail vendors, lawn games, multiple bars and access to the brewery’s private Ghost Tasting Room during the event.
The larger venue also allows Sessions to expand its production and entertainment offerings while providing the flexibility to continue the event rain or shine.
Doors open each Wednesday at 6 p.m., with opening DJs performing before Theo takes the main stage. Organizers say future events will also feature guest DJs, surprise performances and other entertainment throughout the season.

From 6 to 8 p.m., all guests can also enjoy $5 Hooky Vodka Sodas during the Hooky Sunset Session while opening DJs perform.
