A new fun experience is on tap of Patchogue’s Main Street.
Standard Rec, a new bar/restaurant concept to the area, opens tomorrow in the former Public House 49 location.
After running Public House for 11 years, owners Frank Bragaglia and Brad Wilson wanted to switch things up.
“We needed to change,” Bragaglia previously told GreaterPatchogue. “We are going to attract a different crowd … We [had also] evolved as owners as far as our product and the cocktails we produce.”
Standard Rec offers a variety of types of games, like at a rec hall. There are board games, Skee-Ball machines and multiple classic arcade games like Ms. Pac-Man.
For food, there is a scratch kitchen with menu items changing seasonally, the owners said.
Bragaglia and Wilson, who also own The Brixton in Babylon, are bringing some of their creative craft cocktails from Babylon to Patchogue
Take The Mexican Fire Squad from The Brixton, which is a Margherita with a little bit of a flare.
“Everything will be fruit infused,” Bragaglia said.
The public can get their first taste of Standard Rec at tomorrow’s opening, which is set for 5 p.m.
