The operators of Blaze Pizza locations in West Babylon and Bay Shore are helping to feed local frontline healthcare workers.
This week, a total of 50 large pizza pies were delivered between Southside Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital.
The donations were made by the Lessing’s Hospitality Group which runs these Blaze Pizzas, as well as over two dozen restaurants, catering halls and hotels in Suffolk and Nassau alone, including the Post Office Café in Babylon Village.
“We are super grateful for all the hard work that all the heroes in the hospitals are doing,” said Lawrence Lessing, vice president of the Lessing’s Hospitality Group. “We hope that donating pizzas to the hospital team helps them stay fueled up and shows our appreciation for their amazing efforts!”
