Because there’s snow better time to apply for a summer job.
Splish Splash Water Park has put out the word that it is accepting job applications for 800 positions across all departments, including lifeguards, food service, retail and park services.
The company said some of the jobs will pay “as high as $19 per hour.” Opening day at the water park is Saturday, May 28.
“So many people, myself included, started out in an entry-level seasonal role and advanced into a rewarding
career,” Splish Splash General Manager Mike Bengtson said. “Whether you stay with us one season or seven, Splish Splash offers fun, one-of-a-kind work experiences that you never forget. We can’t wait to welcome more people to
our team!”

To sweeten the pot for potential employees, the Calverton amusement park said it’s introducing new
incentive programs with weekly prize giveaways and a raffle where “team members can win prizes like a flat
screen TV or Apple Air Pods.”
The water park covers training costs in each department, including the cost of lifeguard certifications. There are opportunities for growth and advancement, scholarships and cash bonus programs, the company said.
Seasonal workers hired by April 1 will get four Bronze Season Passes to use themselves and to share with family and friends. Seasonal jobs are available for teens as young as 14, Splish Splash said.
