Napoleon Dynamite fans, this one’s for you.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the beloved indie classic, the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts is hosting a special one-night-only event on April 25, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at 71 East Main Street in Patchogue.
The evening kicks off with a full screening of “Napoleon Dynamite,” still one of the most quoted comedies of its era — a film whose awkward charm, unforgettable characters, and endlessly repeatable lines continue to resonate with audiences of all ages.
After the movie, fans are invited to stick around for an interactive, freewheeling live show featuring three of the film’s stars: Jon Heder (Napoleon), Jon Gries (Uncle Rico), and Efren Ramirez (Pedro).
Expect a lively blend of Q&A, improv, game-show-style antics, behind-the-scenes stories, and plenty of audience participation.
Organizers describe the experience as family-friendly, laugh-filled, and a true celebration of a movie that’s become part of the cultural lexicon. Whether you know every line by heart or are bringing someone to meet Napoleon for the first time, this anniversary event promises to be a night to remember.
P.S., “How much you wanna make a bet I can throw a football over them mountains?
Tickets and additional details are available through the event page.
